Red Hill Belgian Blonde
Pours hazy, golden/orange body, off white head. Nose displays peach & vanilla notes in conjunction with earthy hops. Carbonation is medium to high. Palate brings a touch of vanilla sweetness before noble hops take charge. Finishes with a good amount of abv driven spice, which complements the robust hop profile.
Love the fact that these guys use their own hops, you really notice the difference!
Kooinda Pale Ale
Pours hazy, orange/amber with substantial off white head. Aromas of caramel and biscuity malt with resiny hops. Palate is aggressive, as expected and a tad rough around the edges but i really like it! More caramel, toffee and biscuit like malt gives way for assertive hops that bring some citrus fruit. Finish is long and bitter. Great effort for a newcomer! Clearly don’t give a damn about pleasing main-stream palates! Of the same ilk as Jamieson Beast IPA.
Arctic Fox Ice Cap Lager
Pours hazy, golden/orange (dark for a lager) with a substantial white head. Aromas are very attractive. Hops bring alot of citrus and stonefruit as well as a nice resiny character, promising signs! Palate is alot more subdued. Shows a hint of fruit early before a whack of grainy malt brings us back into lager territory. Carbonation is spot on, which is nice to see as it is bottle conditioned. Good effort for a newcomer, has potential to dethrown Knappstein Lager...
All of the above will be instores next week. (If not already)

G'Day Chris,
The Fox boys dropped off a sample to the restarant recently so I now have an idea of what to expect. Big call that it might knock off the Knapp! That'd be a special beer! Had the Red Hill on tap recently and loved it. Will be in next week for some bottled stock.
Cheers,
rof. Pilsner

Hey mate,
Yeah i know, its a big call. They are one of the few who are producing lagers that actually have some hop aromatics, so hat goes of to them for that!
Am loving almost everything Red Hill do, can't wait for the hop harvest and imperial stout!
