SLOWBEER'S NEWS, REVIEWS & ARRIVALS - GROWLERS ARE BACK!

Quite possibly one of the most exciting weeks at slowbeer in a while, with the arrival of hundreds of shiny new growler bottles! Its been far too long, since growlers were in full swing but with a stockpile of bottles we are now pouring once again! Having just tapped one of many kegs, its easy to see why they were so popular the first time! Also, not to be overshadowed is the arrival of another shipment of the amazing Beer Here range from Denmark. See below for full details.

NOW OPEN WEDNESDAYS!
I guess you have to admit, we do keep some odd hours, while the limited trading days have been good to us over the last year or so, we are easing our way into extending starting with Wednesdays. From now on we will be open EVERY Wednesday from 2-7pm for all your beery needs. Aside from spending more time in the store, this means we will be able to receive exciting new stock sooner & also get online orders out faster, cant argue with that!

HOLGATE ROAD TRIP IPA
As mentioned the arrival of our second growler shipment has been hotly anticipated by many, after the original batch disappeared very quickly. Having tapped a keg of 5AM Saint last week & see it quickly dissipear, I have to say its great to have growlers filling once again. The Holgate Road Trip IPA is a draught only release & was inspired by the brew team’s beer & brewery tour through the craft beer capital of the world, the pacific northwest of the USA. This IPA is loaded with Chinook, Centennial & Cascade hops from that region. Expect a touch of light malt, with the hops providing vibrant tropical fruit aroma & flavour with a touch of piney bitterness on the finish – Be quick or miss out!
